The Environment Agency has awarded a number of flood defence contracts which could be worth upwards of £4.3 million in total.
The Agency is seeking to improve its incident response capability by increasing its stock of temporary flood defences for use in a variety of flooding incidents which will form an essential part of its flood incident response.
The successful suppliers will be required to supply all fittings, fixings and consumables to permit uncompromised deployment and operation of the equipment throughout its life. The equipment is stored at a network of depots distributed around England.
